Blood stain? Cold water only
How to get blood out of clothes
Rinse from the back of the fabric with cold water straight away, rub in a little washing-up liquid or biological detergent, soak 30 minutes in cold water, then wash cool. Never use hot water: heat sets blood.
No hot water or tumble dryer until the stain is gone. Hydrogen peroxide is for whites only, after a spot test, and never mixed with vinegar or bleach. Check the care label.
Never mix cleaning products. Bleach plus ammonia, vinegar or other acids releases toxic gases. Use one product at a time, rinse between them, ventilate, and unplug appliances before you clean them.
