Pink slime under your dish rack? Do this
How to clean a dish drying rack
Take the rack apart, scrub every wire, joint and the drip tray with hot soapy water and an old toothbrush, then loosen any white limescale with a vinegar-soaked cloth on its own and rinse. Dry every piece fully and empty and wipe the drip tray once a week.
Use one product at a time and rinse between them: never mix vinegar with bleach, which releases toxic chlorine gas. Keep vinegar off marble, granite and other natural stone worktops, and test a coated or painted rack on a hidden spot first.
Never mix cleaning products. Bleach plus ammonia, vinegar or other acids releases toxic gases. Use one product at a time, rinse between them, ventilate, and unplug appliances before you clean them.
