Your hairbrush is dirtier than you think
How to clean a hairbrush
Rake the hair out with a comb, soak the bristles for 10 minutes in warm water with a drop of shampoo, scrub the base with an old toothbrush, rinse and dry it bristles down.
Don't soak wooden or cushioned brushes: just dip the bristles and wipe. Shampoo only, no bleach, and never mix cleaners.
Never mix cleaning products. Bleach plus ammonia, vinegar or other acids releases toxic gases. Use one product at a time, rinse between them, ventilate, and unplug appliances before you clean them.
