Fabric softener is ruining your microfibre cloths
How to wash microfibre cloths
Wash microfibre cloths on their own at 40-60°C with a little liquid detergent, skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, then air-dry or tumble on low.
No bleach or fabric softener on microfibre: they break down and clog the fibres. Check the label for the maximum temperature and never mix laundry products.
Never mix cleaning products. Bleach plus ammonia, vinegar or other acids releases toxic gases. Use one product at a time, rinse between them, ventilate, and unplug appliances before you clean them.
